I think I’ve been labeled a head case most of my life. Which makes sense because I’ve even worried about being worried, and that’s very easy to do when you’re stuck in your own head and you just. feel. so. damn. much.

Some OBGYNs belittled my symptoms. They essentially tossed some anti-anxiety medication my way and said, “Hey, you’re a mother and all of these things are normal. Take this pill and let’s see if it helps take the edge off.” And, that’s just not right. Doctor, Doctor Give Me the News

My ailments are symptoms. They are my body telling me something is “off”. It’s o.k. to FEEL them and not expect a quick fix. It’s hard to allow them to be felt and to allow them to pass through me.
